Combined Cadet Force
Welcome to the website of Campbell College Combined Cadet Force. The CCF at Campbell is now a voluntary organisation, but is still one of the largest in the UK with around 300 Cadets over three sections; Royal Navy, Army and Royal Airforce. We also have our own Bugles, Pipes and Drums section, who perform at a variety of functions in and out of the College, and a competitive Shooting Team to put many larger Schools to shame both locally and nationally.
Training is conducted in the extensive College grounds on a Wednesday and Thursday afternoon during the Christmas and Easter Terms, and once a term a Field Day is granted for members of the CCF to conduct specialist training throughout Northern Ireland. More information on each sections activities is given in the respective sections within the site. Field Days take place in October, March and May (Pioneer Company only). We also attend two camps per year; one at Easter and one over the Summer Holidays. Typically these camps are week long residential trips and give an excellent opportunity for keen cadets to practice the skills learnt throughout the year.
I hope you enjoy this site, and that it proves both informative and entertaining. If you have any questions of queries, please do not hesitate to email me at online@campbellcollege.co.uk for more information.
